Indian Bureaucracy, Patna, May 20, 2025| JUST IN, Bihar sees fresh round of IPS transfers, 6 IPS officers have been reassigned, a majority of whom are Superintendents of Police. These changes come into effect immediately. See their present and new assignments below:
- Shri Rajeev Ranjan IPS (Rajeev Ranjan-I, Bihar 2012), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), EOW, Bihar Police, is transferred and appointed as SP – State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB), Bihar.
- Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha IPS (Bihar 2012), presently SP, Lokayukta Office, Bihar Police, is transferred and appointed as SP – Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Patna, Bihar.
- Shri Pankaj Kumar IPS (Bihar 2013), presently SP, State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB), Bihar, is transferred and appointed as SP – EOW, Patna, Bihar.
- Shri Anant Kumar Roy IPS (Bihar 2016), presently Commandant, 16th Bn Bihar Special Armed Police, is transferred and appointed as AIG – Traffic, Patna, Co.
- Shri Manish Kumar Sinha IPS (Bihar 2018), presently SP, Security, Special Branch, Patna, Bihar, is transferred and appointed as Commandant – Special Security Group (SSG), with additional charge of SP – Security, Special Branch, Patna, Bihar.
- Shri Rajesh Kumar IPS (Bihar 2018), presently Commandant, Special Security Group (SSG), Bihar, is transferred and appointed as Commandant – 16th Bn, Bihar Special Armed Police, Bihar.
