G Mukund Reddy IFS appointed DFO – Hanamkonda and Jangaon
Shri G Mukund Reddy IFS (Telangana 2017), upon promotion to the IFS of Telangana Cadre, and presently posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests / District Forest Officer, Vigilance-I, Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Hanamkonda and Jangaon, Telangana, in place of Smt Bhukya Lavanya IFS (2017).
An officer of the 2017 batch of the Telangana cadre, Shri G Mukund Reddy has been promoted to the Indian Forest Service and has been serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests/District Forest Officer, Vigilance-I, in the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.
His present assignment has provided him with experience in forest administration and vigilance-related responsibilities at the headquarters level. The role has involved coordination and supervision of departmental matters within the vigilance framework of the Forest Department.
Following his promotion to the IFS of the Telangana cadre, Shri Reddy has now been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Hanamkonda and Jangaon.
The new assignment places him in a significant district-level field responsibility, involving supervision of forest administration, conservation and protection activities across the two districts. As DFO, he will also coordinate with field formations and other government agencies on matters relating to forest management.
Shri Reddy’s experience in the headquarters and vigilance structure of the Forest Department is expected to be valuable in his new field assignment. He succeeds Smt Bhukya Lavanya IFS, who has been transferred and posted as DFO, Mahabubabad.
His appointment marks an important new responsibility following his promotion to the Indian Forest Service and provides him an opportunity to contribute his administrative experience to district-level forest governance.
