Headed by two IITians, Pawan and Bharat, they have now set up India’s largest Rocket development facility with updated technology.

Dr. Jitendra Singh also unveiled Skyroot’s Vikram-1 orbital rocket, marking another milestone for the Indian private Space sector. India’s rapid progress in science and technology has earned recognition on the global stage.

Dr. Singh pointed out that Prime Minister Modi has opened new opportunities for India’s youth talent to explore emerging sectors, including Space, BioTech, Agriculture, and Energy. He highlighted the role of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation in fostering a greater public-private partnership in scientific research, with a significant portion of the budget expected to come from non-government sources, industry, philanthropists, and domestic and international funding.

Overall, the Space sector’s liberalization has led to significant growth and innovation, and India is poised to become a prominent player on the global stage in the field of Space technology and research.
