D Samhitha IFS appointed DCF (FCA), Office of PCCF, Telangana

Smt D Samhitha IFS (Telangana 2018), upon promotion to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre, and presently posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests (Admin), Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests (FCA), Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.

An officer of the 2018 batch of the Telangana cadre, Smt D Samhitha has been promoted to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre. She has been serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests (Administration) in the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.

Her present assignment has involved administrative responsibilities within the headquarters structure of the Telangana Forest Department. The role of Deputy Conservator of Forests requires coordination of departmental functions and implementation of responsibilities assigned within the relevant administrative framework.

Following her promotion to the IFS of the Telangana Cadre, Smt Samhitha has now been transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests (FCA) in the Office of the PCCF (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.

The new assignment will involve responsibilities associated with the Forest Conservation Act framework and related departmental matters. The position requires coordination, examination and supervision of issues connected with forest conservation and regulatory responsibilities.

Her experience in the administrative wing of the Forest Department is expected to be valuable in handling the new responsibility. The posting represents a new professional assignment following her promotion to the Indian Forest Service.
