The Office of Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, organized a “Shramdaan for Swachhata” event today at the parking space near Kendriya Vidhyalaya, opposite Vikas Bhawan, INA, New Delhi.
Leading the cleanliness drive was Shri S.S. Dubey, Controller General of Accounts. The chosen parking space was in response to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call for nationwide cleanliness. Over 50 officials and staff from the Office of Controller General of Accounts actively participated in the shramdaan for more than an hour. They collected more than 50 bags of waste, which were subsequently transported to the waste dumping area.
Following this, a cleanliness exercise was also conducted near the Office of Controller General of Accounts, Block E, GPO Complex, INA. Additionally, Shri S.S. Dubey oversaw a tree plantation activity.
