Smt. Aparajita Bhattacharya, wife of Chairman, CIL and Smt. Rani Mohan wife of Director – P&IR, CIL inaugurated the free emergency ambulance service in Kolkata. Shri. Sutirtha Bhattacharya, Chairman, CIL, Shri R. Mohandas, Director – P&IR, CIL and Shri. Shekhar Saran, CMD, CMPDI & Director (Technical), CIL and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
The service has two Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances to shift the patients within the golden hour to the nearest Government or CIL’s empanelled hospital.
CIL employees and their dependents living in Kolkata, Baranagar, Bidhanagar, Dum-Dum and Rajarhat-Gopalpur Municipality can use these services in case of emergency. Retired employees registered with CIL under CPRMSE / CPRMS NE and their spouses too can avail of the service. Employees and their dependents can dial 8697583166 or 71104399 to avail this free service.
