CMD, NHPC conferred Industry Doyen award

Indian Bureaucracy PSU Update: Shri K.M. Singh, CMD, NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company has been conferred the ‘Industry Doyen’ award by Construction Industry Development Council at 9^th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 7^th March 2017. The award recognizes the immense contribution made by Shri Singh in the field of hydropower development in the country and as a leading professional with proficient leadership qualities and excellent project execution and administrative capabilities. The award was presented to Shri Singh by Hon’ble Dr. Justice Arijit Pasayat, former judge, Supreme Court of India and Shri Pradip Bhargava, IAS (retd), Former Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. The 160 MW Teesta Low Dam-IV Project of NHPC located in West Bengal was also conferred the award for ‘Best Construction Project’ at the 9^th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards.
