The budget session of the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly starts from today. The session will start with the address of Governor PB Acharya in the house. This would be the first budget to be placed by the BJP government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister who is also the Finance Minister Chawna Mein will place the budget. This budget session will have 8 seatings concluding on March 15. Election for the post of Deputy Speaker will be held tomorrow. The post was left vacant after Deputy Speaker T. N. Thongdok was elected to the post of Speaker in the previous session.
