Ms.B. Sandhya IPS (Kerala 1988) presently posted as (ADGP) Additional Director General (Modernisation) Kerala Police, has been appointed Additional Director General (South Zone)Kerala Police.
B. Sandhya (born 1963) is a painter, writer and author.She was born to S. Bharathadas and V.L Karthyayani Amma at Palai in Kottayam District, Kerala. She joined the Indian Police Service, after passing the Indian Civil Services Examination in 1988. She served as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Shornur, Joint Superintendent of Police, Alathur, Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Kannur, District Superintendent of Police, Kollam and Thrissur, Asst. Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crime Investigation, Southern Range, Thiruvananthapuram. She is currently working as the Inspector General of Police, Ernakulam Range(Law & Order).
