Anubhav to showcase outstanding work done by Govt Personnel during service

The Department of Pension & Pensioner’s Welfare has launched an online software, ‘Anubhav’ for showcasing outstanding work by retiring employee and sharing experience of working with the Government. The software has been launched on the directions of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It is envisaged that over a period of time, this will create a wealth of institutional memory with replicable ideas and suggestions. This tool in addition, gives opportunity to the retiring employee to invest his experience, skill and time for growth of social capital of the country.

Workshops on ‘Anubhav’ have been organized during early last year for the Head of Offices/ Head of Departments of Ministries/ Departments and retiring employees to introduce the concept and the software application as well as to facilitate submission of write-ups by retiring employees. Ministries/ Department have been requested to conduct workshops on ‘Anubhav’ for their retiring employees to facilitate them to upload their write-ups.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in his address to civil servants on Civil Service Day celebrations on 21st April 2015 desired that ‘Anubhav’ be nurtured and promoted as tool for creating a wealth of institutional memory.

A format comprising of few questions that can be used to build up write-ups for ‘Anubhav’ has been circulated to all Ministries/ Departments for use by their retiring employees vide OM NO. 4/2/2014-P&PW (Coord) dated 19.10.2015. Another feature of uploading audio file has been added to the ‘Anubhav’ software. It provides facility to upload recorded voice message of 3 to 4 minutes (3MB) duration by the retiring employee. Instructions for use of this facility have been circulated to all Ministries/ Departments vide OM No. 4/2/2014-P&PW (Coord) dated 23.10.2015. It is hoped that with these new features the presentation on Anubhav would become more attractive.

Till date, 78 organizations have registered, 1043 write-up have been published and 312 write-ups which have been uploaded and are waiting to be published.
