The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: i)  Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS(AM:84), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and industry for the balance period of his central deputation tenure i.e. upto 30.06.2017 or until further   orders, whichever is earlier, in the vacancy of Shri Madhusudhan Prasad, IAS (HY:81).

ii)         Cancellation of order of appointment of Shri T. Vijayakumar, IAS(AP:83), as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development and appointment of Ms. Nutan Guha Biswas, lAS (UT:83), in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in the vacancy of Shri D.V. Prasad, lAS (KN:84).

iii)         Shri Jalaj Shrivastava, lAS(UT:84), in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in the vacancy of Shri Ranglal Jamuda, lAS(OR:8l).

iv)        Shri Ashok M.R. Dalawai, lAS(OR:84), DDG, UlDAl, as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture for the balance period of central deputation tenure i.e. upto 29.04.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in the vacancy of Shri D.K. Jain, lAS(MH:83).

v)         Shri R. Buhril, lAS(TN:84), Protector General of Emigrants, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, as Adviser, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri N.S. Kalsi, IAS (PB:84)

vi)        Ms. Anuradha Mitra, IP&T A&FS:82, in the cadre, as Financial Adviser (Acquisition) & Member (Defence Procurement Board) and Additional Secretary,

Ministry of Defence, for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Shobhana Joshi, IDAS:79.

vii)        Shri Amarjeet Sinha, lAS(BH:83), Additional Secretary, Department of Higher

Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development as Additional Secretary,

Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development for the balance period of his central deputation tenure i.e. upto 14.09.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in the vacancy of Shri S.M. Vijayanand, IAS (KL:81).

viii)       Shri Alok Kumar, lAS(AM:84), Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission as Additional Secretary, NITI  Aayog for the balance period of his central deputation tenure i.e. upto 13.12.2016 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

ix)        Ms. Nilam Sawhney, IAS (AP:84), in the cadre, as Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Alok Kumar, IAS (UP:84), on his relinquishment of charge of the post.
