AAI at World Aviation Conference From -indian Bureaucracy

To address the challenges for the next generation airports and building mega hub airports in line with the future aviation demand versus capacity, Airports Authority of India (AAI) participated in the 2nd World Aviation Conference organized from 5th to 7th Sept. 2017 at Seoul, South Korea. Addressing the conference, Ms.Angela Gittens, Director General, ACI-World in her Key Note address brought out opportunities, challenges and solutions for the Next Generation Airports.

Airports Authority of India’s  team led by Mr.Rajeev Kumar Gupta, Jt.General Manager (Engg-Civil), Ms. Maushumi Sengupta, Asstt. General Manager (Finance) and Ms.Monika Dembla, Asstt. General Manager (Finance) presented Airports Authority of India’s viewpoints towards Air Connectivity and Airport Competitiveness and also apprised the audience of the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016 and the innovative initiative taken by the Government of India targeting the common man, by introducing UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik) i.e. addressing affordability, capacity and efficiency in aviation business.
