Indian Bureaucracy, Thiruvananthapuram, February 14, 2025| The Kerala state government has transferred seven IPS officers within the state as part of routine administrative changes. Additionally, it has created an ex-cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Thrissur, and upgraded the position of Superintendent of Police, Co-Operative Vigilance, making it equivalent in rank to the Superintendent of Police, Telecom. The transferred officers and their new postings are listed below.
- Shri Ramesh Kumar PN IPS (Kerala 2015), presently, Superintendent of Police, Co-Operative Vigilance, Kerala, is transferred and appointed as, Principal – Police Training College, relieving Shri Bijoy P IPS.
- Shri Bijoy P IPS (Kerala 2016), presently, Principal, Police Training College, Kerala, is appointed as, Superintendent of Police – Crime Branch, Central Unit IV, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
- Shri Jayasankar R IPS (Kerala 2017), presently, Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Central Unit IV, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police -Internal Security, State Special Branch, relieving Shri Rajesh N IPS.
- Shri Rajesh N IPS (Kerala 2017), presently, Internal Security, State Special Branch, Kerala, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police – Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Ernakulam, Kerala.
- Shri Mohamed Shafi K IPS (Kerala 2018), presently, Superintendent of Police, EOW, Ernakulam is appointed as Superintendent of Police – Co-Operative Vigilance, on State deputation (Level 11 of the Pay Matrix with Pay Scale Rs.67700-208700). The post of Superintendent of Police, Co-Operative Vigilance, is now upgraded and declared equivalent to the cadre post of SP, Telecom.
- Shri T K Subrahmannian IPS (Kerala 2018), presently, Superintendent of Police, Special Cell, V&ACB, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police – Crime Branch, Thrissur, Kerala. The post is created in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix with Pay Scale of Rs. 67700-208700 for a period of one year w.e.f 14.02.2025 and is declared equivalent to the cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Ernakulam, Kerala.
- Shri V D Vijayan IPS (Kerala 2019), presently, Superintendent of Police, Telecom, Kerala, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police – Protection of Civil Rights, Kerala.
