Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, November 02, 2024|The Haryana Government has announced a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 44 senior IAS officers across various departments. Senior officers from the 1990 batch have been assigned key roles, with Sudhir Rajpal now overseeing Medical Education & Research and Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Sumita Misra taking charge of Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation, and Administration of Justice Departments, and Anurag Rastogi appointed as Financial Commissioner for Revenue, Disaster Management, and Consolidation. Notably, Ashok Khemka has been designated as Additional Chief Secretary for the Transport Department. Below is the detailed list of officers, their previous roles, and their new assignments.

1. Shri Sudhir Rajpal IAS (Haryana 1990), presently Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department and Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, to continue as Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, in addition to as Additional Chief Secretary – Medical Education & Research, Additional Chief Secretary – Ayush Department along with Additional Chief Secretary – Health & Family Welfare Department. He is relieved of charge of Civil Aviation Department.
2. Dr Sumita Misra IAS (Haryana 1990), presently Additional Chief Secretary – Medical Education & Research Department and Additional Chief Secretary – Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, appointed Additional Chief Secretary – Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Departments, Haryana.
3. Shri Anurag Rastogi IAS (Haryana 1990), presently Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana, Finance and Planning Departments and Additional Chief Secretary – Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Departments, transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner – Revenue Disaster Management and Consolidation Department, Additional Chief Secretary – Finance and Planning Deartment, Haryana.
4. Shri Anand Mohan Sharan IAS (Haryana 1990), presently Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department and Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Labour Department, to continue as Additional Chief Secretary Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department in addition to as Additional Chief Secretary – Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Haryana.
5. Shri Ashok Khemka IAS (Haryana 1991), presently Additional Chief Secretary – Printing & Stationery Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary – Transport Department, relieving Shri Navdeep Singh Virk IPS (HY:1994).
6. Shri Vineet Garg IAS (Haryana 1991), presently Additional Chief Secretary – School Education Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary – Higher Education Department, relieving Shri D Suresh IAS (Haryana 1995) of the said charge, and as Chairman – Haryana State Pollution Control Board.
7. Shri Apoorva Kumar Singh IAS (Haryana 1991), presently Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Advisor, Haryana Saraswati Heritage Board, and Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, to continue as Additional Chief Secretary – Energy, Haryana Department, Haryana, in addition to being appointed as Additional Chief Secretary – Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, Haryana.
8. Shri Anurag Agarwal IAS (Haryana 1994), presently Additional Chief Secretary, PW (B&R) and Architecture Department, and Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation & Water Resources Department, is appointed as Advisor – Haryana Saraswati Heritage Board, relieving Shri Apoorva Kumar Singh IAS (Haryana 1991) of the said charge.
9. Shri D Suresh IAS (Haryana 1995), presently Resident Commissioner of Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, and Principal Secretary, Haryana, Higher Education Department, to continue as Resident Commissioner – Haryana Bhawan, in addition to being appointed as Principal Secretary – Industries & Commerce Department, Haryana.
10. Shri Shyamal Misra IAS (Haryana 1996), presently Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi, to continue as Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi, in addition to being appointed as CEO – Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, relieving Shri A Sreenivas IAS (Haryana 2008) of the said charge, CEO – Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram and Principal Secretary – Civil Aviation Department, Haryana.
11. Shri Ranjeev Ranjan IAS (Haryana 1998), presently Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department, is appointed as Principal Secretary – Haryana Labour Department, in addition to his current duties, relieving Shri Anand Mohan Sharan IAS (Haryana 1990) of the said charge.
12. Shri Vijay Singh Dhaiya IAS (Haryana 2001), presently Commissioner & Secretary, Archives Department, is appointed as Commissioner & Secretary – Printing & Stationery Department, and Commissioner & Secretary – Animal Husbandry Department, Haryana.
13. Smt Amneet P Kumar IAS (Haryana 2001), presently Commissioner & Secretary, Women & Child Development Department, is appointed as Commissioner & Secretary – Archives Department, in addition to her present duties, relieving Shri Vijay Singh Dhaiya, IAS (Haryana 2001).
14. Shri Mohammed Shayin IAS (Haryana 2002), presently Commissioner & Secretary,  Housing for All, Managing Director of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd, and Director General, Supplies & Disposals, Haryana, to continue as Commissioner & Secretary – Housing for All, in addition to being appointed as and Commissioner & Secretary – Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana, relieving Shri Apoorva Kumar Singh IAS (Haryana 1991).
15. 16. Shri Sanjay Joon IAS (Haryana 2003), presently Director General, Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare Haryana and Secretary to Government, Haryana, Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, and Commissioner, Faridabad Division, is appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Faridabad Smart City Ltd., Faridabad, in addition to his present duties, relieving Smt A Mona Sreenivas IAS (Haryana 2006).
17. Smt Ashima Brar IAS (Haryana 2004), presently Secretary and Director General, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA), is appointed as Excise & Taxation Commissioner of Haryana, and Secretary – Excise & Taxation Department, and Managing Director – Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.
18. Shri C G Rajni Kanthan IAS (Haryana 2004), presently Secretary, Finance Department, Secretary, Human Resources Department, Secretary, Haryana General Administration Department, and Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations, is appointed as Transport Commissioner – Haryana, and Secretary – Transport Department, in addition to his present duties.
19. Shri Phool Chand Meena IAS (Haryana 2004), presently Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd, and Commissioner, Hisar Division, is appointed as Commissioner – Ambala Division, relieving Smt Geeta Bharti IAS (Haryana 2005).
20. Shri A Sreenivas IAS (Haryana 2004), presently Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, CEO, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, and CEO, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, is appointed as Commissioner – Hisar Division, Hisar, and Managing Director – Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd, in place of Shri Phool Chand Meena, IAS (Haryana 2004).
21. Shri Sanjeev Verma IAS (Haryana 2004), presently Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak, and Managing Director, Haryana Women Development Corporation Ltd., is appointed as Director General – Sports, Haryana, and Secretary – Sports Department, relieving Shri Yashendra Singh IAS (Haryana 2011) of the said charge. He will also serve as Director General – AYUSH, Haryana, in place of Shri Anshaj Singh, IAS (Haryana 2008), and as Director General – Foreign Cooperation Department.
22. Smt Geeta Bharti IAS (Haryana 2005), presently Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala, and Managing Director, Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation, is appointed as Secretary to Government, Haryana, Home-I and Home-II Department, while continuing as Managing Director – Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation.
23. Shri A Mona Sreenivas IAS (Haryana 2006), presently Additional Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and CEO, Faridabad Smart City Ltd., to continue as Additional Resident Commissioner – Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, in addition to being appointed as CEO – Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority, Sonipat, relieving Shri K M Pandurang, IAS (Haryana 2007) of this charge.
24.
