Minster of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping, Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya informed that the National Highway No. 87 (Old) extends from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh to Jeolikot in Uttarakhand and further through NH 87E up to Karanprayag via Ranikhet. The Rampur – Kathgodam section of this highway is under implementation for 4-laning by NHAI.
The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of the said stretch from existing single or intermediate lane to 2-lane with or without paved shoulder has been undertaken.
