Indian Bureaucracy, Lucknow July 27, 2025| In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 23 senior IAS officers on Sunday, July 27, 2025. This large-scale transfer brings new District Magistrates to key districts, including Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad, Gonda, Bahraich, Mirzapur, Kasganj, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Several important departments—such as Home, Finance, Higher Education, and Social Welfare—have also witnessed significant changes. Among the key transfers, Smt Ministhy S moves from the Finance Department to take charge as Cane Commissioner, while Shri Gaurav Dayal shifts from Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya to Secretary, Home Department. Additionally, Shri Rajesh Kumar (2008 batch) has been appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Lucknow. The list of officers and their new assignments is detailed below.

  4. Shri Rajesh Kumar IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2008), presently Secretary, Home and Vigilance Department, Uttar Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Divisional Commissioner – Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. Shri Amrit Tripathi IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2008), presently CEO, Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority, Jhansi, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Department of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh.
  6. Smt Neha Sharma IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2010), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Gonda, is transferred and appointed as Incharge Inspector General (IG) – Registration, Stamp And Registration Department, Uttar Pradesh.
  7. Smt Monika Rani IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2010), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Baharaich, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – UP Basic Education Department, with additional charge of Additional Director General (ADG) – School Education, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  8. Shri Krishna Karunesh IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2011), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Gorakhpur, is transferred and appointed as Additional CEO – Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
  9. Shri Deepak Meena IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2011), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Ghaziabad, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Gorakhpur.
  10. Shri Manish Kumar Verma IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2011), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Gautam Budh Nagar, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
  11. Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2013), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Prayagraj, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate, District Magistrate & Collector – Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

  16. Smt Medha Rupam IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Kasganj, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh
  17. Shri Pranay Singh IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Additional Commissioner, Administration, UP Sugar, with additional charge of MD, State Sugar Corporation Ltd., Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh.
  18. Shri Kapil Singh IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Additional CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Kanpur Rural (Dehat), Uttar Pradesh.
  19. Shri Amandeep Duli IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Special Secretary, Agriculture Production and Marketing Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate & Collector – Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.
  20. Ms Prranata Aishwarya IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2019), presently Special Secretary, Namami Gange And Rural Water Supply Department, Uttar Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Chief Development Officer – Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
  21. Shri Jaynath Yadav IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2020), presently Joint Director, Disabled Empowerment Directorate, Uttar Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Agriculture Production and Marketing Branch, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
