The Government of Telangana has issued official orders announcing a fresh round of transfers and postings of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, reflecting a strategic administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing departmental efficiency across the state. Released by the General Administration (SPL-A) Department, these orders signify the government’s continued commitment to dynamic administration, effective service delivery, and responsive governance.

Such transfers and postings play a vital role in aligning experienced officers with key departments and field responsibilities, ensuring optimal utilization of administrative expertise and leadership capacity. The latest reshuffle is expected to streamline coordination between departments, improve policy implementation, and reinforce institutional performance at multiple levels of governance.

These decisions form an integral part of the state’s ongoing efforts to maintain administrative balance, promote accountability, and adapt to evolving governance needs, while ensuring continuity, stability, and efficiency in public administration throughout Telangana. The names of the IAS Offers are :

  1. Dr. Jyoti Buddha Prakash IAS (2002) presently Secretary – SCD Department is transferred and posted as Chairman & Managing Director- Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).
  2. Shri Sabyasachi Ghosh IAS (1994) presently Special Chief Secretary – Implementation of Flagship Welfare & Developmental Schemes Unit is placed in full additional charge as Special Chief Secretary -Scheduled Caste Development Department and Commissioner- Scheduled Caste Development. Shri Sabyasachi Ghosh shall continue to hold full additional charge as Special Chief Secretary – Tribal Welfare Department, Special Chief Secretary – Welfare and Commissioner, Tribal Welfare.
  3. Shri Sandeep Kumar Sultania IAS (1998) presently Principal Secretary -Finance Department is placed in full additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary – Planning Department & E.O. Director General, Telangana Remote Sensing Applications Centre (TGRAC) .
  4. Ms. D Divya IAS (2010) presently Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination
    of Rural Poverty (SERP) is placed in full additional charge of the post of Commissioner- PR & RD .
  5. Shri R V Karnan IAS (2012) shall continue in the post of Commissioner- Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
  6. Smt. G Srijana IAS (2013) presently Additional Commissioner, GHM- is transferred
    and posted as Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
  7. Shri T Vinay Krishna Reddy IAS (2013) presently Additional Commissioner- GHMC is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
  8. Ms. P Katyayani Devi IAS (2017) presently Additional Chief Executive Officer- Society
    for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) is transferred and posted as State Nodal Officer, Prajavani duly relieving Ms. D Divya IAS(2010) from full additional charge of the said post. Ms. P Katyayani Devi shall continue to hold the full additional charge as Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation.
  9. Shri Mayank Mittal IAS (2020) presently Executive Director- HMWS&SB is transferred and posted as Joint Managing Director, HMWS&SB.
  10. Shri U Raghuram Sharma IAS (SCS) presently OSD to Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries & LA is transferred and posted as Special Secretary – Industries & Commerce. Shri U Raghuram Sharma is also placed in full additional charge of the post of OSD to Hon’‘ble Minister for IT, Industries & LA.
