A short while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, executing precision strikes against terrorist infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir. These sites were being used to plan and coordinate attacks against India.
A total of nine (9) targets were struck.
The operation was carefully calibrated—focused, measured, and deliberately non-escalatory. At no point were Pakistani military installations targeted. India has exercised significant restraint, both in the selection of targets and in the manner of execution.
This action follows the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national lost their lives. As promised, India is committed to holding the perpetrators of this atrocity accountable.
