NBCC (India) Limited, a prestigious Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, has emerged as a beacon of excellence in infrastructure development, playing a pivotal role in nation-building through the execution of transformative projects across the country.

Under the leadership of its CMD, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, NBCC’s visionary approach and unwavering commitment have made it a pioneer in executing stressed asset projects, such as those of the erstwhile Amrapali Group. The Hon’ble Supreme Court entrusted NBCC with the responsibility of completing Amrapali’s long-pending projects, a monumental task that the company has successfully undertaken. This remarkable achievement was made possible by the collective support of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, homebuyers, financial institutions, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and other key stakeholders. NBCC’s ability to fulfill this trust highlights its capability to deliver results under complex and challenging circumstances.

With its superior project management expertise and dedicated approach, NBCC has already delivered close to 24,000 housing units under the Amrapali initiative, a testament to its efficiency and resolve. This accomplishment reinforces NBCC’s position as a driving force in India’s growth story, contributing towards key government missions like Housing for All and advancing the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary goal of Viksit Bharat@2047. NBCC’s work continues to empower millions of citizens, transforming their dreams of home ownership into reality.

In yet another landmark achievement, the Hon’ble National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), through its order dated December 12, 2024, has entrusted NBCC with the execution and completion of 16 stalled projects of Supertech Limited. Spread across four states—Uttar Pradesh (12 projects), Uttarakhand (1 project), Haryana (2 projects), and Karnataka (1 project)—these projects underscore NBCC’s growing leadership as a trusted Project Management Consultant (PMC). Importantly, NBCC will execute this critical responsibility without assuming any financial liability.

The magnitude of this assignment is significant: these 16 projects encompass approximately 50,000 housing units, with an estimated construction cost of ₹9,445 crore (inclusive of statutory fees, contingencies, and charges). For its consultancy role, NBCC has been awarded an 8% PMC fee, which includes a 1% marketing fee, showcasing its well-earned position of trust in managing and promoting large-scale projects.

NBCC, under the able leadership has consistently upheld the highest benchmarks of quality, transparency, and sustainability. The company will ensure the timely delivery of these projects within a span of 3 years, resolving the long-standing grievances of thousands of homebuyers and restoring their faith in the system.

This initiative further solidifies NBCC’s standing as a symbol of reliability, trust, and progress, proving its ability to navigate complexities while driving the country’s infrastructure forward. By empowering homebuyers and supporting national priorities, NBCC continues to be a torchbearer of development, building a stronger, more vibrant India for the future.
