April 2025- Indian Bureaucracy News Network | In a significant reshuffle of administrative leadership, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfer and new postings of 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across the state. These transfers, dated April 2025, reflect the state’s ongoing efforts to optimize governance, bring fresh perspectives to key districts, and strengthen the delivery of public services.

1. Shri Chandra Vijay Singh IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2012) presently District Magistrate, Ayodhya has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary- Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, Uttar Pradesh.
2. Shri Nikhil Tikaram Funde IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014) presently District Magistrate- Chandauli has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
3. Shri Chandra Mohan Garg IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2016) presently Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj Municipal Corporation has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh.
4. Shri Seelam Sai Teja IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2018) presently Chief Development Officer, Jaunpur has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj Municipal Corporation, Uttar Pradesh.
5. Ms. Mrunalee Avinash Joshi IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2021) presently Joint Magistrate, Gorakhpur has been transferred and posted as Chief Development Officer, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.
6. Ms. Nisha IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2015) presently District Magistrate, Amethi has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh.
7. Shri Sanjay Chauhan IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014) presently Municipal Commissioner, Saharanpur has been transferred and posted as → District Magistrate, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
8. Shri Sipu Giri IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2017) presently Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, Uttar Pradesh has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
9. Shri Mahendra Verma IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2012) presently Mission Director, National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
10. Shri Avanish Kumar Rai IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014) presently District Magistrate, Etah has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Budaun, Uttar Pradesh.
11. Shri Shubhrant Kumar Shukla IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2013) presently District Magistrate, Kannauj has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Etah, Uttar Pradesh.
12. Shri Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2016) presently Special Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh and Additional Director- Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Marketing Board has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh.
13. Ms. Nidhi Srivastava IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014) presently District Magistrate, Budaun has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, Uttar Pradesh.
14. Shri Sandeep Bhagia IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2018) presently Chief Development Officer, Muzaffarnagar has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Tax), Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
15. Shri Kandarkar Kamalkishor Deshbhushan IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2021) presently Joint Magistrate, Meerut has been transferred and posted as Chief Development Officer, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
16. Shri Raj Kumar-I IAS (Uttar Pradesh) presently awaiting posting has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Energy Department, Uttar Pradesh.
