In a recent administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, two senior IAS officers have been entrusted with additional responsibilities, reflecting the state government’s confidence in their leadership and administrative acumen.
Shri Amit Kumar Ghosh, IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1994), who is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administration Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Shri Ghosh’s experience is expected to bring renewed momentum to these vital sectors of rural and economic development.
Smt. Sanyukta Samaddar, IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1999), presently serving as Principal Secretary, Political Pension, Civil Defense, Essential Welfare, and Muslim Waqf Department, has been given additional charge as Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms and Public Service Management Department, along with the post of Director, Administrative Reforms. Known for her efficient handling of governance and reform-oriented portfolios, her expanded role aligns with the state’s emphasis on improving public service delivery and institutional performance.
