NBCC (India) Limited, commemorated its 65th Foundation Day on November 15, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event was attended by Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, along with Shri Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Directors, senior officials, and invited guests, including the families of NBCC employees.

During the ceremony, Shri Manohar Lal unveiled the coffee table book Abhyudya Avinya – New Innovation which chronicles NBCC’s transformation of Nauroji Nagar into the World Trade Center, New Delhi. In his address, the Minister highlighted NBCC’s contributions to the nation’s infrastructure growth, emphasizing the construction sector’s role in employment generation and its significance in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat. He also acknowledged NBCC’s issuance of bonus shares, ongoing CSR initiatives, and its efforts to ensure the welfare of construction workers through medical camps and planned felicitation programs.

Shri Srinivas Katikithala lauded NBCC for addressing market gaps in the construction sector and praised its service to the nation. Shri K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, reflected on NBCC’s achievements and its pivotal role in national development.

The program featured a play by NBCC employees on the revival of stalled Amrapali projects under the Supreme Court’s directive, showcasing NBCC’s ability to resolve challenges created by private builders. A solo performance recounting NBCC’s journey and a musical rendition by Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam added to the celebratory spirit.

The event reiterated NBCC’s dedication to sustainability, inclusivity, and its continued focus on supporting India’s growth trajectory.
