Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to address the ‘National Symposium on Cooperative Exports,’ organized by the National Cooperative for Exports Limited (NCEL) on Monday, October 23, in New Delhi. During the event, Shah will also launch NCEL’s logo, website, and brochure, and distribute membership certificates to NCEL members.
The symposium will cover various crucial topics, including harnessing cooperatives for linkages to export markets, exploring the potential of Indian agri-exports, and identifying opportunities for cooperatives. These discussions will provide insights into the role of cooperatives in India’s export market landscape.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of the Minister of Cooperation, the Ministry of Cooperation has undertaken 54 initiatives in the last 27 months to bolster the cooperative movement in India. One of these significant initiatives is the establishment of a national-level cooperative, NCEL, aimed at promoting exports through cooperatives. This initiative aligns with the Modi government’s vision of “Sahakar se Samriddhi” or “Prosperity through Cooperation,” emphasizing the pivotal role cooperatives play in India’s economic growth.
The ‘National Symposium on Cooperative Exports’ will serve as a platform for cooperative members, leaders, and experts to deliberate on the future of Indian cooperatives in the export sector, fostering an environment conducive to growth and prosperity.
