In Coal India Limited (CIL) has plan to set up 12 new coking coal washeries and one non-coking coal new washery to reduce the quantity of ash and useless component from coal. Further, in SCCL, one washery with 1.0 MTPA operational capacity is working on BOO (Build Own Operate) basis at Manuguru area, Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana.
