Rajnath Singh to inaugurate Conference on Human Trafficking

The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will inaugurate a two-day National Conference on Human Trafficking on September 01, 2015. Human Trafficking is a transnational organized crime which needs a well coordinated response from various agencies involved in law enforcement as well as rescue and rehabilitation work. Strengthening law enforcement response to human trafficking is a key focus area of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

All stakeholders including State nodal officers for human trafficking, officer of Anti Human Trafficking Units set up in various districts, other stakeholder Ministries/Departments, NGOs and other experts in the field of Human Trafficking will participate in the conference which will be held in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
