Shri. Praveen Kumar Tiwari (IA&AS:85) will continue on his Central Deputation as Director Financial Intelligence Unit of India under Department of Revenue, till middle of April, 2016 (April 13, 2016) or until further orders.
Shri. Tiwari joined as Director, FIU-IND in January 2011. He is a civil servant and has over 25 years of experience. During his tenure in Government, Shri. Tiwari has held positions at both the state and federal levels in the areas of finance, audit and financial sector regulation and supervision. Prior to his current assignment of Director, FIU-IND, he worked as Executive Director in the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
Shri. Tiwari has Master’s degrees in Geology and Economics, and professional certification in financial analysis, financial sector audit, internal audit and AML/CFT.
