OFB contributes 10 lakh to Army Battle Casualties Fund

As a part of social responsibility, the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) has contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Army Battle Casualties Fund. Shri S P Mishra, Member of OFB, accompanied by Shri Rajvir Singh, Deputy Director General, handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Major General R P Kalita, Aditional Director General (Ceremonial and Welfare) on 21 January, 2019.

The Indian Army has opened an account named ‘Army Welfare Fund Battle Casualties’, which accepts donations for the families of battle casualties. The donations received in the fund are utilized to pay financial assistance to widows of battle casualties, their next of kins and dependents.

OFB wishes the Indian Army the very best towards their endevaour and pledges continued support in this direction.
