The National Green Tribunal (NGT) organized a free medical camp today at its Principal Bench in New Delhi, in collaboration with Lung Care Foundation and Doctors for Clean Air. The camp focused on conducting lung function assessments, including a structured health questionnaire followed by spirometry testing, to evaluate respiratory health.

The camp was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Prakash Shrivastava, Chairperson, NGT, in the presence of other esteemed Members of the Tribunal. This wellness initiative was aimed at promoting health and fitness among NGT employees and visitors, raising awareness about air quality and its impact on lung health.

The NGO team was led by Mr. Abhishek Kumar, CEO of Lung Care Foundation, and supported by Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Kumar, Founder Trustee of the Foundation and Chest & Lung Transplant Surgeon at Medanta Hospital, along with Dr. Vivek Singh, Senior Pulmonologist at Medanta Hospital. They were assisted by a team of four technicians and nursing officers from Lung Care Foundation.

Participants were educated about the importance of lung health and were given demonstrations of exercises designed to enhance lung capacity and breathing efficiency.

This health camp is expected to contribute significantly to the well-being and productivity of attendees, reinforcing the NGT’s commitment to a healthier, cleaner environment.
