MOIL, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, has achieved its best-ever Q3 performance for October-December 2024, recording a production of 4.6 lakh tonnes of manganese ore and sales of 3.88 lakh tonnes. This represents a 13% increase over the same period last year (CPLY). In the first nine months of the current financial year, MOIL’s production reached 13.3 lakh tonnes, a 4.5% rise, while sales stood at 11.39 lakh tonnes, up by 4% compared to the previous year. Additionally, the company made significant progress in exploratory core drilling, with 72,340 metres drilled—an increase of 19% over CPLY.
With these results, MOIL is on track to exceed its previous Q3 revenue record. Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD of MOIL, expressed satisfaction with the performance and is confident the company will continue its growth trajectory.
