The Uttar Pradesh government has issued transfer orders for five senior IPS Officers as part of a strategic administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening policing and governance across key regions. The officers, from the 2008 to 2010 batches, have been assigned new roles in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Basti, and the state headquarters in Lucknow. These changes involve critical law and order, technical services, and prison administration responsibilities.

- Shri Sanjeev Tyagi IPS (UP 2010) presently DIG- Prison Administration & Reform Services, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow now posted as DIG- Basti Range, Basti, Uttar Pradesh.
- Shri Dinesh Kumar P IPS (UP 2009) presently DIG- Basti Range, Basti has been approved for Central Deputation.
- Shri Shivasimpi Channappa IPS (UP 2009) presently Additional CP- (Law & Order), Police Commissionerate, Varanasi now posted as DIG- Gorakhpur Range, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
- Shri Anand Sureshrao Kulkarni IPS (UP 2008) presently DIG- Gorakhpur Range, Gorakhpur now posted as DIG- Technical Services, Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh.
