Shri Mebanshailang R Synrem IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 2002), has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, with additional charge of the post of Additional DG (Tourism), from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years vice Ms. Rupinder Brar IRS (IT: 1990).
