22 Appointments | Major Bureaucracy Reshuffle at the Centre – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive  – In a major reshuffle at the Centre, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the names of 22 Senior Bureaucrats with immediate effect , the full list of names are :

1. Shri Arun Singhal IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1987) presently Special Secretary- Department of Health & Family Welfare appointed as Chief Executive Officer- Food Safety & Standards Authority of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare ( rank and pay of Secretary to GoI ) .
2. Shri S Gopalakrishnan IAS (Tamil Nadu 1991) presently Additional Secretary- Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology appointed as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office on lateral shift basis for balance period of Central Deputation tenure i.e upto 27.10.2022 .
3. Shri Rajendra Kumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 1992) appointed as Additional Secretary- Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in partial modification of the order dated 12.5.2020 appointing him as DG-ESIC under Ministry of Labour & Employment.
4. Shri Subir Mallick IA&AS (1989) appointed as Additional Financial Adviser and Joint Secretary- Ministry of Defence (Finance) (level of Additional Secretary) for the balance period of his Central deputation tenure i.e. till 04-05-2021 (This is in partial modification of the earlier order dated 12-05-2020 appointing him as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, DIo Agricultural Research and Education)
5. Shri C Sridhar IAS (Bihar 2001) presently Deputy Director- LBSNAA, Mussoorie appointed as as Joint Secretary-  Prime Minister’s Office on lateral shift basis upto 4.08.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. (Joint Secretary level)
6. Shri Surendra Prasad Yadav IFoS (West Bengal 1996) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Defence Production from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders. (Joint Secretary level)
7. Shri Manish Tiwari IRTS (1995) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Home Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge against an existing vacancy. (Joint Secretary level)
8. Shri Ateesh Kumar Singh IRTS (1994) appointed  as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises from the date of assumption of the charge by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Development Commissioner in the O/o Development Commissioner (MSME), initially for a period of two years. 9. Shri Anupam Mishra IES (1995) appointed as Joint Secretary (A&F)- Development Monitoring & Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog from the date of assumption of the charge against an existing vacancy. (Joint Secretary level)
10. Ms Vinod Kotwal IP&TA&FS (1994) appointed as Member Secretary- National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under Department of Pharmaceuticals from the date of assumption of the charge . (Joint Secretary level)
11. Ms Alaknanda Dayal IAS (Punjab 2000) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Agricultue, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare from the date of assumption upto 24.11.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. (Joint Secretary level)
12. Ms Pallavi Agarwal IRS (lT 1991) appointed  as Member Secretary- National Monuments Authority, Ministry of Culture from the date of assumption of the charge for a tenure till 07.06.2020 or until further orders. (Joint Secretary level)
13. Ms V Radha IAS (Maharashtra 1994) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade from the date of assumption of the charge upto 29.03.2022 or until further orders. This is by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Director in the Department.  (Joint Secretary level)
14. Shri Vijay Kumar Singh ICAS (1995) appointed as Member (Finance) –  Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. (Joint Secretary level)
15. Shri Ghanshyam Prasad CPES (1989) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Power from the date of assumption of the charge.  (Joint Secretary level)
16. Ms Himabindu Mudumbai  IA&AS (1999) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Revenue from the date of assumption of the charge for a tenure of five years. (Joint Secretary level)
17. Shri Vipin Kumar IAS (Bihar 1996) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of School Education & Literacy from the date of assumption of the charge for tenure of five years. (Joint Secretary level)
18. Shri Sunil Kumar IFoS (Punjab 1999) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Science & Technology from the date of assumption of the charge for a tenure of five years or until further orders by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Director in the Department. (Joint Secretary level)
19. Ms R Jaya IAS (Tamil Nadu 1995) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Tribal Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge for an overall tenure of five years/  upto 24.04.2024 against an existing vacancy. (Joint Secretary level)
20. Ms Roop Rashi IA&AS (1994) appointed as Textile Commissioner- Mumbai under the Ministry of Textiles from the date of assumption of the charge for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. (Joint Secretary level)
21. Ms Meera Mohanty IAS (Himanchal Pradesh 2005) presently Director- Cabinet Secretariat appointed as Director – Prime Minister’s Office on lateral shift basis for the balance period of Central Deputation tenure i.e. upto 01.05.2021 .(DS/Director level)
22. Ms Smita Sarangi IAS (Nagaland 2008) presently Deputy Secretary- Department of Personnel & Training appointed as Deputy Secretary- Cabinet Secretariat on lateral shift basis for the balance period of Central Deputation tenure i.e. upto 29.07.2022 . (DS/Director level)
