Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi led an ‘anti-dengue’ rally here to create awareness among people on the ‘dos and don’ts’ to prevent spread of the disease. She carried a placard to spread the message on dengue and appealed to public to ensure that they did not give room for breeding of mosquitoes.

Bedi had held joint meetings with officials of various departments concerned with regard to eradication of mosquitoes and curbing spread of dengue.

The former IPS officer has been at loggerheads with the Congress government here on several issues since taking over as Lt Governor last year.
