Indian Railways publishes new time table, Trains At A Glance Railway effective October 1, 2023

The Ministry of Railways has officially unveiled the updated All India Railway Time Table, referred to as “TRAINS AT A GLANCE (TAG),” with effect from October 1, 2023. This comprehensive railway timetable is now accessible on the Indian Railways’ official website at https://indianrailways.gov.in/railwayboard/view_section.jsp?lang=0&id=0,1,304,366,537,2960 for easy reference and planning.

The updated railway time table introduces several significant changes for enhanced travel convenience:

  1. Inclusion of Vande Bharat Trains: The timetable now incorporates 64 services of Vande Bharat Trains, offering passengers modern and efficient travel options.
  2. Expansion of Services: An additional 70 train services have been introduced, extending the rail network’s reach.
  3. Frequency Enhancement: The frequency of 12 services has been increased, providing more flexible travel choices.
  4. Superfast Trains: 22 train services have been accelerated to achieve Superfast status, reducing travel duration.
  5. Route Diversion: The Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani route (20501/02) has been diverted via Malda and Bhagalpur.
  6. Punctuality Improvement: South Eastern Railway services have undergone time table adjustments to enhance punctuality.

This updated time table aims to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and enhance the overall passenger experience. Passengers are encouraged to refer to the new schedule for departure and arrival timings.
