The Ministry of Railways has officially unveiled the updated All India Railway Time Table, referred to as “TRAINS AT A GLANCE (TAG),” with effect from October 1, 2023. The updated railway time table introduces several significant changes for enhanced travel convenience:
- Inclusion of Vande Bharat Trains: The timetable now incorporates 64 services of Vande Bharat Trains, offering passengers modern and efficient travel options.
- Expansion of Services: An additional 70 train services have been introduced, extending the rail network’s reach.
- Frequency Enhancement: The frequency of 12 services has been increased, providing more flexible travel choices.
- Superfast Trains: 22 train services have been accelerated to achieve Superfast status, reducing travel duration.
- Route Diversion: The Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani route (20501/02) has been diverted via Malda and Bhagalpur.
- Punctuality Improvement: South Eastern Railway services have undergone time table adjustments to enhance punctuality.
