IAS Transfer News, Maharashtra Government Transfers 17 IAS, Full List Inside

Indian Bureaucracy, Mumbai, February 04, 2025| The Maharashtra govt has recently transferred as many as seventeen IAS officers in the state. Several key IAS officers have been transferred to new roles across various departments. Among the notable changes, Shri Pravin Chindu Darade, an IAS officer of the 1998 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary for the Department of Textiles, Cooperation, and Marketing, after serving as the Principal Secretary for the Environment Department. Other changes include Shri Pankaj Kumar, now appointed as Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer in the General Administration Department, Shri Pradipkumar Krushnarao Dange, heading the Human Rights Commission and Smt Shweta Singhal, who takes over as the Divisional Commissioner of Amravati. The list of transferred officers, including their new roles and deployment locations, is as follows,

1. Shri Pravin Chindu Darade IAS (Maharashtra 1998), presently, Principal Secretary, Environment Department, Maharashtra, Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Department of Textiles, Department of Cooperation, Marketing and Textiles, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
2. Shri Pankaj Kumar IAS (Maharashtra 2002), presently, Managing Director, Maharashtra Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd, Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer (II) – General Administration Department (GAD), Mantralaya, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
3. Shri Nitin K Patil IAS (Maharashtra 2007), presently, Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Mumbai.
4. Smt Shweta Singhal IAS (Maharashtra 2009), presently, Secretary, Governor of  Maharashtra, is transferred and appointed as Divisional Commissioner – Amravati Division, Amravati,Maharashtra .
5. Dr Prashant Naranavere IAS (Maharashtra 2009), presently, Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer (II), General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Governor, Maharashtra, Malabar Hill, Mumbai.
6. Shri Anil Bhandari IAS (Maharashtra 2010), , presently, Co-Chief Executive Officer, MIDC, Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Director – Information Technology, Mumbai.
7. Shri Ashok W Kakade IAS (Maharashtra 2010), presently, MD – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research, Training and Human Development Institute (SARATHI), Pune, is transferred and appointed as District Collector – Sangli, Maharashtra.
8. Shri Pradipkumar Krushnarao Dange IAS (Maharashtra 2011), presently, Commissioner, Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Navi Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – State Human Rights Commission, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
9. Dr Kunal Prakash Khemnar IAS (Maharashtra 2012), presently, Commissioner Sugar, Pune, is transferred and appointed as Joint CEO, MIDC.
10. Shri S Ramamoorthy IAS (Maharashtra 2013), presently, Secretary, Tariff Regulatory Authority, Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as,  Deputy Secretary – Governor of Maharashtra, Malabar Hill, Mumbai.
11. Shri Abhijit Rajendra Raut IAS (Maharashtra 2013), presently, District Collector, Nanded, is transferred and appointed as, Joint Commissioner – State Tax, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra.
12. Shri Milind W Salwe IAS (Maharashtra 2013), presently, Joint Commissioner, State Taxes, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, is transferred and appointed as, Commissioner – Minority Development,  Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra.
13. Dr Mantada Raja Dayanidhi IAS (Maharashtra 2014), presently, District Collector, Sangli, is transferred and appointed as, Joint Managing Director – City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), Maharashtra.
14. Shri Rahul Kashinath Kardile IAS (Maharashtra 2015), presently, Co-Managing Director, CIDCO, Navi Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as District Collector, Nanded, Maharashtra.
15. Smt Madhavi Sardeshmukh IAS (Maharashtra 2015), presently, Chief Executive Officer, Smart City, Kalyan-Dombivli, is transferred and appointed as, Vocational Education and Training, Mumbai.
16. Shri Anmol Sagar IAS (Maharashtra 2019), presently, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Latur, is transferred and appointed as, Administrator and Commissioner – Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation.
17. Shri Amit Ranjan IAS (Maharashtra 2022), presently, Assistant Collector, Charmoshi Sub-Division, Gadchiroli, is transferred and appointed as, Project Officer – Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Pandharkawada, and, Assistant Collector – Kelapur Sub-Division, Yavatmal, Maharashtra.
