Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, February 15, 2025| The Haryana government has undertaken another round of large-scale bureaucratic reshuffle, issuing transfer orders for 36 HCS officers and 6 IAS officers as per the notification dated February 13, 2025. This follows a recent reshuffle on February 4, when 67 HCS officers and 12 IAS officers were transferred in a single move, bringing the total to 79. With these latest transfers, the state has issued 121 transfer orders this month alone.
Given Haryana’s agrarian nature, several officers have been reassigned within Zila Parishads and District Rural Development Agencies to ensure smoother implementation of rural development programs. The state has also introduced two new positions—one in the State’s Development and Panchayats Department and another in the Municipal Corporation of Panipat.
Among the key shifts, Sandeep Aggarwal HCS, is now the Joint Transport Commissioner of Haryana, and Amit Maan from the 2020 batch has been appointed as the Deputy CEO of Faridabad Smart City Ltd. To strengthen district-level governance, new City Magistrates have been posted in Gurugram, Sonipat, and Jhajjar. Additionally, the posts of District Municipal Commissioner of Ambala, and the CEO of Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited, have been upgraded to the Senior Scale of IAS. These positions will now be held by Sachin Gupta (IAS, 2018 batch) and Vishwajeet Chaudhary (IAS, 2021 batch), respectively.
