Bringing over 33 years of extensive experience as a seasoned Chartered Accountant, Mr. Baweja has successfully managed financial and business operations across various institutions. His background in finance, coupled with his CA credentials, highlights his track record in navigating complex financial landscapes.
During his tenure as Executive Director of Finance at REC, Mr. Baweja skillfully tackled diverse financial challenges, demonstrating a deep understanding of both state and private sector financing. He also oversaw REC’s critical business offices strategically situated across India. Mr. Baweja’s profound understanding of the intricate financial dynamics within the energy sector has been pivotal in guiding REC’s growth trajectory and enhancing its financial performance.
His strategic initiatives played a key role in addressing challenges posed by stressed assets, significantly contributing to REC’s journey towards achieving a Net Zero NPA status by the end of the fiscal year, while also diversifying the financing portfolio with a focus on the renewable sector.
