Five IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in NITI Aayog

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Five 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in NITI Aayog, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Amit Ranjan IAS (Maharashtra 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Sangli, Maharashtra.
  2. Ankita Agarwal IAS (West Bengal 2022), holds a degree in B.A. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Magistrate & Assistant Collector – Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal.
  3. Divya Shakti IAS (Bihar 2022), holds a degree in B.E. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Nalanda, Bihar.
  4. Srinivas Sadi IAS (AGMUT 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Attached with Deputy Commissioner – Roing, Arunachal Pradesh.
  5. Utkarsh Khandal IAS (West Bengal 2022), holds a degree in B.Sc. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Magistrate & Assistant Collector – Nadia, West Bengal.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering first hand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
