He was previously serving as the Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, where he oversaw key urban development initiatives and infrastructure enhancement projects with commendable efficiency.

Shri Rana brings with him a wealth of experience across various sectors. Over the years, he has held numerous critical positions including District Collector in multiple districts such as Kachchh, Anand, Banaskantha, and Amreli; Tribal Development Commissioner in Gandhinagar and at the State Secretariat; and Deputy Commissioner in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. His tenure in both urban and rural setups, including land revenue, tribal welfare, and social justice, demonstrates a deep understanding of inclusive governance and development administration.
