The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) organized an Official Language Award Distribution Ceremony recognizing winners of competitions conducted during the “Hindi Pakhwada”. Minister of State, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, presented certificates to winners of the All India Essay Competition, among other contests. The event was chaired by the Secretary of DAHD and attended by senior officials, including the Joint Secretary and Director (Official Language). Subordinate offices participated via video conferencing.
Prof. Baghel also released the second edition of the department’s official language magazine, “Surabhi”. In his address, he highlighted the significance of adopting Hindi as an official language while also stressing the importance of regional languages. He emphasized preserving cultural identity through local dialects, attire, and food habits and encouraged employees to incorporate Hindi into their daily professional work.
The event underscored the department’s commitment to promoting linguistic diversity and fostering cultural pride while advancing the use of Hindi in official operations.
