Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD, NLCIL inaugurated the renovated St. Joseph Higher Secondary School building, Neyveli, on 27.04.2018. St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Block-4, Neyveli-1, a Tamilnadu Government aided school, functioning since, 1967, imparting quality education through Tamil Medium, to the children studying from surrounding villages, at free of cost. Based upon the request made by the school authorities, NLC India Limited, renovated the school building, which was under decrepit condition at a cost of Rs.24,65,000/-. This work was carried out by NLCIL under its CSR fund.
Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, after inaugurating renovated building, said, this school had rich history as par with the NLCIL organization with flair towards English Medium schools, the strength of the students had drastically come down. He appealed to the School Management to start English Medium from the ensuing Academic year.
Shri R. Vikraman, Director, HR appreciated the school management for their relentless services .He appealed the school management to strive more to get good number of students to enrol in coming academic year , to avail benefit of the quality education and good infrastructure facilities.
Rev.Fr. R. Ratchagar, Parish Priest, Neyveli thanked NLCIL management for showing generous response and renovating the building in a short span.
On this occasion Shri R. Mohan, CGM/HR, Shri J. Peter James, Shri S.R. Sekar General Managers from CSR Department of NLCIL, Senior Executives, Headmaster of Higher Secondary School, Teachers, Parents and Principals of various schools students participated.
