NTPC Awarded by CBIP as Best Performing Power Utility  : NTPC has been awarded as the Best Performing Utility of the Country in Thermal Power Sector by Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) today on 4th January, 2019 at a function held in New Delhi. Shri R K Singh, Minister of State I/C for Power and New & Renewable energy, GOI presented the award to Shri Gurdeep Singh CMD NTPC. Shri Saptarshi Roy, Director (HR) and Shri A K Gupta, Director (Commercial)  NTPC were also present. 

Shri A K Bhalla, Secretary (Power); Shri  U.P. Singh , Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation; Shri  S. Masood Husain, President, CBIP & Chairman, Central Water Commission and  Shri P.S. Mhaske, Vice President, CBIP &  Chairperson, CEA  were present  on the occasion.
