Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has officially announced its audited financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025. The company reported a net profit (PAT) of ₹280 crore in Q4 FY25, a major turnaround compared to a loss of ₹849 crore in Q4 FY24. This follows a ₹262 crore profit in Q3 FY25, marking BSNL’s first consecutive profitable quarters in nearly two decades.

Despite short-term pressure from higher depreciation linked to spectrum acquisition, the company is optimistic about long-term profitability through initiatives like 4G/5G rollout using indigenous technology, 5G as a Service, backhaul fiber upgrades, and ongoing asset monetisation.
