Shri Anoop Kumar Srivastava IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 1981) presently Secretary (Border Management) in Union Home Ministry (MHA). He has been given additional charge of Inter-State Council for three months.
Shri Srivastava is a PG in Industrial Engineering and has served as JS , Department of Revenue in the Union Finance Ministry from December 2009 to March 2012. He had also worked as Additional/Special Secretary, in the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment from April 2012 to April 2015, besides holding a number of important positions in his state cadre.
