Gurugram, June 14, 2025: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise and a premier NBFC under the Ministry of Power, marked World Blood Donor Day by organizing a blood donation camp at its corporate office. The event was held in collaboration with Lions Blood Centre, a renowned charitable blood bank dedicated to saving lives through voluntary blood donations.

The camp saw active participation from REC employees, demonstrating the organization’s strong commitment to community welfare and corporate social responsibility. International kickboxer Shri Sudhir Saxena attended the event as the Guest of Honour. His address inspired attendees, as he highlighted the vital role of fitness, discipline, and social responsibility in building a healthier and more compassionate society.

Adding to the spirit of the occasion, REC Chairman and Managing Director Shri Jitendra Srivastava led from the front by donating blood himself. Speaking at the event, he stated, “Voluntary blood donation is a noble act that can make a life-saving difference. At REC, we are dedicated to nurturing a culture of compassion and shared responsibility.”

REC-Building
