Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, May 16, 2025| Delhi is experiencing a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, marked by the transfer of 42 IAS and DANICS officers, as detailed in a recent order. This large-scale reassignment is part of a broader set of transfers affecting 66 IAS and IPS officers, with 21 moving out of Delhi and 23 being posted into the capital (May 16, 2025). Among the key changes, Shri Bipul Pathak IAS (AGMUT 1992) has been appointed as ACS -Industries, with additional charge of ACS – Environment & Forests. He was previously serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Industries, with additional responsibilities including Chairman of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (DSIIDC), and MD of the Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board.
- Shri Bipul Pathak IAS (AGMUT 1992), presently Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Industries, with additional charge of Chairman, Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (DSIIDC), and, MD, Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board, is transferred and appointed as ACS -Industries, with additional charge of ACS – Environment & Forests, relieving Shri Anil Kumar Singh IAS (AGMUT 1995).
- Shri Prashant Goyal IAS (AGMUT 1993), presently Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Transport, is transferred and appointed as ACS – Urban Development and Chairperson – Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC).
- Shri Navin Kumar Choudhary IAS (AGMUT 1994), presently ACS, Irrigation and Flood Control Department (I&FC), with additional charge of ACS, General Administration Department (GAD), is relieved of the additional charge of GAD and given additional charge of ACS – PWD.
- Shri A Anbarasu IAS (AGMUT 1996), presently Principal Secretary, Home, with additional charge of Principal Secretary, PWD, and, Principal Secretary, Information & Publicity (I&P), is relieved of the additional charge of and additional charge of I&P and given additional charge of Principal Secretary – Services, Delhi.
- Shri Nikhil Kumar IAS (AGMUT 2002), presently Secretary, Land & Building, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Health & Family Welfare, with additional charge of Secretary -IT, Delhi.
- Shri Neeraj Semwal IAS (AGMUT 2003), presently awaiting Posting, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Revenue-cum-Divisional Commissioner, with additional charge of Secretary – Information & Publicity.
