Chhattisgarh 41 IAS Transfers 2025: Full List of New Postings

Indian Bureaucracy, Nava Raipur, April 20, 2025| In major administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government announced the transfer of 41 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on April 19, 2025, reshaping key positions across the state. Notable appointments include Shri Topeshwar Verma (IAS 2005) as President of the Board of Revenue, Bilaspur, Shri Janak Prasad Pathak (IAS 2007) as Special Secretary of the Forest Department, and Smt Shikha Rajput Tiwari (IAS 2008) as Commissioner of Medical Education with additional charge of Commissioner, Ayush. The reshuffle also sees several officers, such as Shri Awanish Kumar Sharan (IAS 2009) and Shri Sunil Kumar Jain (IAS 2009), taking on critical roles in urban planning and divisional administration, along with appointment of new new commissioners and collectors in 11 districts. Below is the list of officers with their present and new postings.

1. Shri Topeshwar Verma IAS (Chhattisgarh 2005), presently Member, Board of Revenue, Bilaspur & Additional charge of President, Board of Revenue, Bilaspur, is appointed as the President – Board of Revenue, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
2. Shri Janak Prasad Pathak IAS (Chhattisgarh 2007), presently Commissioner, Higher Education, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Forest.
3. Smt Shikha Rajput Tiwari IAS (Chhattisgarh 2008), presently Secretary, Department of Forest, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Medical Education, with additional charge of Commissioner – Ayush, with the post of Commissioner Medical Education upgraded to the level equivalent of rank and responsibility of IAS.
4. Dr Priyanka Shukla IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Commissioner-cum-Director, Health Services, is given additional charge as MD – National Rural Health Mission.
5. Smt Kiran Kaushal IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Commissioner, Medical Education, is transferred and appointed as MD – MARKFED, with additional charge of MD – Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation, with the post of MD MARKFED upgraded to the level equivalent of rank and responsibility of IAS.
6. Shri Awanish Kumar Sharan IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Collector, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Directorate of Town and Country planning, with additional charge of Commissioner – Chhattisgarh Housing Board, with the post of Commissioner Directorate of Town and Country planning, upgraded to the level equivalent of rank and responsibility of IAS.
7. Shri Saurabh Kumar IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently CEO, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar (NRDA), is relieved of the Additional charge of Director, Town and Country Planning, Chhattisgarh.
8. Shri Sunil Kumar Jain IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Director, Geology & Mining, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Bilaspur Division, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
9. Shri K D Kunjam IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Secretary, Department of Religious Trusts and Endowments, is transferred and appointed as Member – Board of Revenue, Chhattisgarh.
10. Shri Kartikeya Goel IAS (Chhattisgarh 2010), presently Collector, Raigarh, is transferred and appointed as Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumers Protection, with additional charge of MD – Warehousing Corporation, Chhattisgarh.
11. Shri Saransh Mittar IAS (Chhattisgarh 2010), presently Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, Chhattisgarh.
12. Shri Padum Singh Alma IAS (Chhattisgarh 2010), presently Commissioner, Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, is transferred and appointed as Director – Women & Child Development, Chhattisgarh.
