Shri Jeetendra Singh IRSSE (1991) presently DRM  Vadodara Division has been appointed as Executive Director (Gati Shakti – Electrical) in the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

Shri Singh brings with him over three decades of diverse administrative and technical experience across key departments of the Government of India. Prior to this posting, he served as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Vadodara Division, Western Railway, from March 2023 to April 2025. He has earlier held important roles including Executive Director (Public Grievances) to the Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries, and Executive Director – Coordination, Efficiency & Research, and Transformation, Railway Board.

He also served in strategic policy roles at NITI Aayog and the erstwhile Planning Commission, where he was actively involved in infrastructure planning, sustainable urban transport, and public-private partnership frameworks.

Academically, Shri Jeetendra Singh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from VNIT Nagpur, and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGPEX) from IIM Calcutta, along with executive training from INSEAD and London School of Economics.

In his new role, Shri Singh is expected to provide strategic leadership to the Gati Shakti – Electrical initiative under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, enhancing integrated infrastructure development and streamlining planning and execution across sectors.
