Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached out to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw following a tragic train accident along the Alamanda and Kantakapalle section in Andhra Pradesh and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
The Prime Minister announced ex-gratia relief from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). The families of each deceased individual will receive Rs. 2 lakh in support, while those who sustained injuries during the rail accident will be provided with Rs. 50,000 in assistance.
