RECAP || 5 IAS reshuffle in Assam – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The New Assam Govt has made 5 IAS transfers across the state with Ghanshyam Dass IAS ( 2012) presently Secretary- Agriculture Department transferred as Secretary to Assam Chief Minister ( Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma), Dr Jeevan B IAS ( 2013) presently DC- Dhemaji transferred as Additional Secretary to Assam Chief Minister ( Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma), Anurag Goel IAS ( 1996) presently Principal Secretary- Health & Family Welfare Department is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner of Taxes, Shri Rakesh Kumar IAS ( 2005) presently Commissioner & Secretary- Fishery & Irrigation Departments and Commissioner of Excise is substantively posted as MD- Assam Power Distribution Company Limited with additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Fishery & Irrigation Departments and relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner of Excise while Rakesh Agarwala IAS (2009) presently MD- Assam Power Distribution Company Limited has been transferred as Commissioner of Taxes with additional charge of Commissioner of Excise.
